This blog is hosted, as you can tell, using WordPress and I use a very well-put-together theme called Tarski. Now WordPress does have a few problems now and again, so when I came back to the blog after a few months away, I thought I really should upgrade both WordPress and the theme itself. I have now spent the last 5 hours painstakingly replacing all of the posts that I no longer had access to after my upgrade! What a disaster.
Thank heavens I had the foresight to dump the contents of the posts into an spreadsheet before running the upgrade, because once I’d done it, I couldn’t even get to the admin page. Anyway, that is why everything appears in April 2014 – because it’s all been re-entered today. That’ll teach me.
