When I retired I really didn’t think that I would miss the drudgery of my daily commute, one and three quarter hours each way on train & subway. But what the travel did give me was the opportunity to take pictures and experiment with different techniques, such as long exposure combined with movement and saturation. Now no-one is commuting much anyway, but one day I’ll be able to get back into the city.
