It doesn’t seem any time since we were watching the leaves change in Fall and now we’re coming out of Winter and seeing the approach of Spring. It’s not been a bad winter this year but it’s good to see signs of life returning to the creek trail.
The Cardinals and Chickadees don’t go anywhere during Winter but now they’re being joined by the Cedar Waxwings, Red-Wing Blackbirds, European Starlings and Goldfinches. Before too long we’ll see the warblers passing through Southern Ontario during the Spring Migration and it will be a feast for photographers. I can’t wait.
