Lost in a moment

As the scumbag who murdered 10 people on the streets of Toronto goes to trial, these pictures were taken a week later at the memorial site where people had laid flowers, toys and messages. I took it in black and white to remove the distraction of the colours.

Stormy Waters

This is an image taken in a local conservation area, slowing the shutter so that a flowing river becomes a torrent of water, wearing down the rock that sits in the middle of the deluge. A 5 second exposure at f5.6 using an ND filter.

To frame or not to frame?

This image was taken some time ago in winter. It seemed like a perfect candidate for a white border; sometimes photographs are enhanced by the defining border but other times it doesn't work. This time I think it did, but feel free to comment.
