Photography Project 26 – H is for…


Hard contrast. There are some textures that lend themselves to an increased level of contrast. In this case the shot is of a wooden barn at Balls Falls (see previous post). The original shot was good, but didn’t have that ‘pop’ that the picture seemed to demand. Not much post-processing was needed, but tweaking the tonal contrast really brought out the colours and feel of the old wood.
